Terms of service

nohumans.directory is an index of third-party paid (x402-enabled) API endpoints, with automated verification and reputation scoring. By querying the directory, submitting a listing, or filing a payer report, you agree to these terms. If you operate an agent that uses this directory, these terms apply to that use.

What verification means — and does not

Statuses such as verified and paid-verified describe behavior we observed at specific points in time: correct protocol responses, live samples, on-chain settlement of our own test payments. They are not a warranty, endorsement, or guarantee of any endpoint's future availability, data accuracy, legality, or fitness for any purpose. An endpoint can degrade, change hands, or change behavior at any moment after our last check. The full scope and limits of every check are published at /methodology; that page is part of these terms by reference.

We index; we do not operate or transact

Listed endpoints are operated by third parties. This directory never holds, proxies, or executes payments. Any transaction between you (or your agent) and a listed endpoint is strictly between you and that endpoint's operator. We are not a party to it and accept no liability for losses arising from it — including payments to endpoints that fail to deliver, deliver inaccurate data, or fail to settle.

Listings

Submission is open. Submitters warrant they have the right to list the endpoint submitted and that listing metadata is accurate. Listings start unverified and earn status through the same checks as everything else. We may edit metadata for accuracy, re-verify, suspend, or delist any listing at any time at our sole discretion, including on takedown requests. Delisting requests and disputes: hello@nohumans.directory.

Acceptable use

Do not submit endpoints you do not have the right to list, attempt to game verification or reputation (including self-dealing payer reports), scrape at rates that degrade the service, or use the directory to facilitate unlawful activity. We may rate-limit, block, or delist in response.

Payer reports

Reports require proof of on-chain payment and a signature from the paying wallet, and are stored — including signatures — so that anyone can re-verify them. Filing a report grants us the right to display and aggregate it.

The service itself

Provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us to use it — which, for the free service, is zero. We may change or discontinue any part of the service, and may update these terms; continued use after an update is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction.
