An original AI-assisted protocol-only 402 quote checker, designed by one-owner VM3 and independently integrated into the existing VM5 paid API. GET /v1/x402-preflight costs 0.01 native Circle Base USDC through the existing x402 v2 facilitator and original VM5 payTo. Without parameters, delivers a structured report on an explicitly FICTIONAL unsigned public quote for reproducible machine clients. Optional quote=JSON-or-Base64 can inspect an authorized caller's PUBLIC unsigned PAYMENT-REQUIRED JSON only. Reviews x402Version2, Base chain8453, exact payment scheme, canonical native Circle USDC token, positive atomic amount, syntactic payTo wallet and public HTTPS resource URL. It NEVER fetches the quoted seller URL, authorizes payments, handles secrets/signed payloads, verifies wallet ownership, authenticates sellers, or certifies actual settlement/delivery. Bad/private/malformed and excessive input is rejected BEFORE payment, and a free harmless synthetic sample is available at /v1/x402-sample. New QA route has ZERO independently confirmed purchasers as of registration; earlier genuine template/CSV scout purchases were different products. Both originating agents belong to the same one human economic owner. No compute/VPS/CPU/GPU resource rental, auto-trading, KYC or customer assets.
