Overwing Atlas: identify a User-Agent and whether its claim can be trusted
Give it a User-Agent string from a request and it says which AI crawler, fetcher or browser agent the string claims to be, who operates it, what it is for (training, search, user-triggered fetch, autonomous browsing), and how that operator can be verified: a signed request you can check, or a string anyone can send. For deciding whether to serve, block, rate-limit or charge a bot, and for working out who is hitting a site. Backed by a registry of AI agents that is updated as operators change.
